Following the launch of its Flare mattress design at the winter Las Vegas market, Comfort Solutions released an educational video on the patent-pending innovation targeted to bedding retailers. The three-minute video—accessible at www.flarecentral.com and hosted at YouTube—highlights the results of consumer research conducted prior to the concept launch and includes outtakes of consumer interviews.
Research results showed that more than two-thirds of consumers are disturbed by partner movement, one-third of respondents reported that space issues prevented the purchase of a larger mattress and 82% said they would be interested in purchasing a Flare queen over a traditional queen-size mattress.
The video also promotes the Flare concept’s benefits to retailers—increased store traffic, higher average unit selling prices and greater market share.
