Mattress manufacturing and retailing major Intercoil International, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has been awarded the Dubai Chamber CSR Label award for the third consecutive year. Intercoil was one of three UAE-based three-time award winners recognized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Intercoil earned the honor for its continued and progressive efforts in integrating sustainability practices and CSR initiatives throughout its daily business practice, according to a news release. The company promotes healthy sleep, funds wellness workshops, has a dedicated quality assurance laboratory and is a longtime proponent of community philanthropy and sustainable business practices.
On receiving the award, Hassan al-Hazeem, Intercoil managing director, said, “Corporate social responsibility and sustainable practices are intrinsic elements of the Intercoil International brand and are applied by every member of our team. Some initiatives are small, others big enough to warrant global recognition, but all are done with the purpose of serving our customers, the community, the environment and our nation. Receiving the Dubai CSR Label for a third time is great motivation for every member of the Intercoil team to continue what we are doing and find ways to do it even better.”
