Reverie expanding manufacturing

Reverie, a maker of mattresses and adjustable bases, has signed a lease for a 120,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Eden, N.Y.

According to Reverie, which is the brand name of Ascion LLC, the move represents a significant increase in the company’s manufacturing and warehousing capacity and the expansion of its production of adjustable bed bases in the United States. The company expects to employ 30 at the site, with the ability to increase that number to more than 100 over time.

Reverie’s mattress production and warehousing also will move to the Eden facility. The company had occupied two smaller facilities in Silver Creek, N.Y., and Dunkirk, N.Y. Customer service offices will remain in Silver Creek.

Reverie is beginning domestic assembly of its bases with its latest introduction, the 7S.

“The adjustable base business in the United States is rising rapidly as consumers of all ages embrace the benefits of this technology,” said Ray Totaro, Reverie vice president of sales. “This new facility enables us to be more responsive to our customers and get product to them more efficiently.”
