Latex supplier Latex International, with headquarters in Shelton, Conn., has launched patent-pending Controlled Thermal Reaction latex. The new formula allows mattress manufacturers to use the same FR solution on latex beds that they apply to the rest of their product line.
“This product was developed following months of research and conversations with our customers,” said Dave Fisher, Latex International president and chief executive officer. “CTR latex works with manufacturers’ existing FR solution to reduce the number of FR SKUs, save money and enhance the feel of their latex mattresses.”
The new latex is manufactured in Shelton and available in Talalay, Dunlop, Talatech and 100% natural latex formulations.
“Controlled Thermal Reaction latex is a game-changing material which we believe will help us build the already growing latex category,” Fisher added. “This is the most important new latex solution brought to the market in the last 25 years and it fills a need for our customers. In addition to helping manufacturers build better feeling beds, CTR will increase their profitability.”
