Chicago-based Protect-A-Bed has announced the retirement of founder and president Clive Goldin. He has served as company president since establishing Protect-A-Bed’s U.S. presence in 2000, and has more than 30 years of experience in sales and distribution. Goldin continues to serve in an ambassador role for Protect-A-Bed, representing the company at events and functions, including golf outings, industry conferences and shows.

“Under Clive’s leadership, Protect-A-Bed has built and inspired a dynamic team of sales associates across the country, as well as 40 countries across the world,” said James Bell, Protect-A-Bed chief executive officer. “He has been instrumental in Protect-A-Bed’s growth and expansion.”

A replacement is expected to be named within the next few months.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with a dedicated sales team and grow our bedding protection products into the category leader,” Goldin said. “I’m thrilled to serve in an ambassador role and continue to work with my sales team and customers who are like family to me.”
