Mattress major Tempur Sealy International Inc., with headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky, promoted Barry Hytinen to executive vice president of corporate development and finance. He reports to Dale Williams, Tempur Sealy executive vice president and chief financial officer.
“Barry’s contributions to Tempur Sealy have been significant and broad-reaching,” said Mark Sarvary, president and chief executive officer. “In particular, his leadership was critical to all aspects of the transformative Sealy acquisition and integration. On behalf of the board of directors and our entire company, I am pleased to congratulate Barry on his well-deserved promotion.”
Previously, Hytinen was senior vice president of finance and global business development. He joined what was then Tempur-Pedic International in 2005 and has held positions of increasing responsibility. Hytinen spearheaded the development of Tempur-Pedic retail stores and other strategic initiatives, and oversaw mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations.
