Protection supplier Protect-A-Bed, with headquarters in Chicago, has appointed Ken Millhouse as president of sales. He succeeds Clive Goldin who retired in November.

Millhouse is responsible for overseeing sales teams in the United States and 48 other countries. He reports to James Bell, Protect-A-Bed chief executive officer.

“Ken’s enthusiasm and ability to think outside the box have established him as a recognized leader in the global business world, and this expertise will be integral to Protect-A-Bed’s continuous growth,” Bell said. “At the end of the day, every mattress needs protection. Ken’s strategic mindset will help the company develop solutions— whether driven by general health concerns, allergens, bedbugs, bedwetting or perspiration—to meet both consumer and business needs.”

Millhouse has 40 years of international sales experience, including, most recently, 20 years with global toy company Lego. While with Lego, he held a number of senior sales and marketing positions, as well as country manager posts around the globe. Prior to that, he was in sales and marketing with Colgate-Palmolive and Tiger Brands.
