Serta Simmons Bedding appoints Dascoli CFO

Serta Simmons Bedding appoints Paul Dascoli CFOAtlanta-based Serta Simmons Bedding LLC has named Paul Dascoli as chief financial officer. He is responsible for all aspects of SSB finance, including planning and analysis, accounting, risk management, treasury, tax and internal audit, as well as the company’s IT functions.

He has 30 years of experience in consumer product and retail finance. Most recently, Dascoli was CFO of Express Inc., a multibillion dollar, publicly traded specialty apparel and accessories retailer, where he contributed to setting the strategic direction of the company and led all finance activities, which included external reporting and investor relations, according to a news release.

Previously, Dascoli was CFO with VF Jeanswear Limited Partnership, the lifestyle apparel company that owns the Wrangler and Lee brands, where he contributed to the growth of the company’s portfolio of brands domestically and in Latin America. He also brings to SSB extensive experience in the furniture industry, having spent 10 years as an executive at Thomasville Furniture Industries, a subsidiary of Furniture Brands International, where he was CFO and responsible for a number of the company’s administrative and operations functions. In addition, Dascoli has been a member of the board of directors of Stanley Furniture Co. Inc. since December 2010.
