Latex supplier Talalay Global has promoted two company officers and added to its component sales team. Kimberly Fisher was named chief operating officer, Steve Turner was promoted to chief financial officer, and Tina Hart joined the Shelton, Connecticut-based company as Midwest component sales director.

Fisher started at the company in 2013 and, previously, was vice president of operations. She has nearly two decades of experience in senior manufacturing roles and is credited with bringing significant performance improvements to Talalay Global, according to a news release.

Before joining Talalay Global, Fisher was plant manager for Mueller Water Products, where she championed continuous improvement and implemented lean business practices. She has experience in supply chain management, human resources, team building, management information systems and customer relations.

Turner, who joined Talalay Global in 2014, has more than 25 years of financial experience in the manufacturing sector and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Previously, he was chief financial officer with Ansonia Copper & Brass where he led the company through two changes of ownership and drove multiple refinancing deals. Prior to that, he was with Rolls Royce.

His financial knowledge and background is extremely impressive, and his previous experience will be a great asset to our company.”

Hart joins Talalay Global from a number of sales posts with Serta. Her hiring is part of a strategy to better serve original equipment manufacturer customers with an even stronger and intensely dedicated sales organization, according to a news release.

She has responsibility for further developing the midwestern part of the country for Talalay Global, working more closely with current customers and building business with regional manufacturers.
