Wright Fundraiser Benefits Families

Wright fundraiser benefits families

Following the second annual ‘Pie in the Face’ fundraiser to benefit area families, Greg Wright and Vicki Fishman (center) of Wright Global Graphics, in Thomasville, North Carolina, present a $5,000 check to Fairgrove Family Resource Center’s Terri Fisher.

Marketing and branding supplier Wright Global Graphics held its second annual “Pie in the Face” fundraising event in support of Fairgrove Family Resource Center, a local community center providing support and services to children and families in eastern Davidson County, North Carolina.

The event raised $5,000, enough to feed 25 children for the entire school year, according to a news release from the Thomasville, North Carolina-based company.

“There are many people in our area who struggle to put one meal on the table for their families per day,” said Greg Wright, WGG president and chief executive officer. “Our goal was to feed as many children as we could. Last year this event was a huge success and it makes it even better that we were able to surpass our donations from last year. Teaming with Fairgrove Family Resource Center really lets us see the direct impact that we have.”
