Creative Ticking Hires Scott Frisch to Lead Business DevelopmentMattress industry supplier Creative Ticking, a division of Beverly Knits, with headquarters in Gastonia, North Carolina, has appointed Scott Frisch as vice president of business development.

Frisch will use “the capabilities of both Beverly Knits and Creative Ticking to drive innovative products that exceed customer expectations and grow business segments,” according to a news release.

A textile industry veteran, Frisch joined Creative Ticking from Springs Creative Product Group, where he was president of the specialty division overseeing the fabric and chemical groups in several niche markets, including mattress, apparel, home furnishings and industrial. Before that, he spent a decade managing his own textile and mattress industry consulting firm, Frisch Enterprises LLC. His career began in fabric development and quality control for several manufacturers in the Carolinas, followed by 10 years in textile equipment sales representing more than 15 European machinery manufacturers.

“As we begin to showcase our updated branding and positioning within the market, Scott’s experience throughout the textile industry will provide the leadership to drive Creative Ticking into a new chapter,”said Dennis St. Louis, president of Creative Ticking.

Commenting on his new post, Frisch said, “There is a consistently growing need for innovation and newness within the industry. My goal is to utilize the technology center of Beverly Knits to create one-of-a-kind ticking that has true performance capabilities and will appeal to new segments in the mattress industry.”
