Englander Sleep Products Adds First Mexico Licensee

Chicago-based mattress licensing group Englander Sleep Products has signed a license agreement with mattress producer and retailer Don Colchon Group, based in Monterrey, Mexico, to make and market Englander-branded beds throughout Mexico.

This is Englander’s first Mexico licensee.

“We’re very pleased to have Don Colchon Group as the newest member of our international licensee community,” said Kevin Toman, Englander president and chief executive officer. “Everything that DCG manufactures—from mattresses and sleep accessories to furniture products—reflects the company’s sincere dedication to quality and value, and to improving quality of life for consumers.”

Founded in 1982, the family-owned company is led by CEO Jesus Gonzalez, employs 200 people and operates 35 stores across Mexico.
