Eclipse and Eastman House donated the beds and partnered with Precision Textiles, a supplier of ticking and flame barriers based in Totowa, New Jersey, for pillows and transportation for the donation.

Since 2011, Beds for Kids has delivered 51,719 pieces of furniture and 5,737 beds to families who often use pallets of blankets as beds each night. Without the support from donors, the organization would be unable to continue its mission of delivering mattresses and home furnishings to those in need.

“We understand the impact healthy sleep habits can have on a child’s ability to thrive in school and in life,” said Stuart Carlitz, BIA principal. “Our entire organization is thrilled that we were able to be part of the great work Beds for Kids does. Beds for Kids does an amazing job, and we were greatly impressed with its passion.”
