Chicago-based mattress licensing group Englander Sleep Products has signed an international licensing agreement with Cap Design, headquartered in Izmir, Turkey.
Cap Design is a manufacturer and retailer of mattresses, bed bases and sleep accessories, as well as home furnishings.
The deal allows Cap Design to make and market the complete line of Englander brands through its existing distribution channels in Turkey and Western Europe.
According to a news release, Cap Design operates a modern production facility employing more than 250 people.
“We’re very pleased to announce our new agreement with (them. They own) retail stores in Germany and the Netherlands, and sell major retailers across France, Belgium and (Turkey),” said Kevin Toman, Englander president and chief executive officer.
“They are an extremely innovative and professional manufacturing organization, the exclusive distributor of the Versace fashion brand in Turkey, a major vendor to hotels worldwide and a current licensee of Spring Air in more than 10 European countries,” he added.
