Luxury mattress brand Stearns & Foster from Lexington, Kentucky-based manufacturer Tempur Sealy International Inc. has teamed up for the second year with HGTV home design expert Jonathan Scott to promote the luxury mattress brand’s beds.
The collaboration features the Stearns & Foster Estate and Reserve collections. Throughout the year, Scott is unveiling new looks, seasonal tips and updates that can be completed on any budget, always keeping the Stearns & Foster bed at the center of the room.
“Stearns & Foster mattress consumers have an affinity for home design and beautiful decor,” said Rick Anderson, Tempur Sealy executive vice president and president of North America. “By working closely with Jonathan Scott, we are able to show our consumers how a Stearns & Foster mattress can be the centerpiece to a thoughtfully crafted bedroom.”
Scott also designed his own Special Edition mattress with help from Stearns & Foster master craftsman Joe Kavanaugh, who has spent 16 years handcrafting beds for the company. Stearns & Foster has created a limited number of the Special Edition beds and is giving one away in a consumer contest.
The company also recognized retail sales associates by hosting a national sweepstakes for RSAs across the country in February. More than 1,000 entered the contest, and the three winners were Brandi Hood from Sleep Outfitters in Kentucky, Jaclyn Hale from Mattress One in Texas and Toula Hallios from Levin Furniture in Ohio. Their prize was an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City where they met Scott and received a personalized tour of the bedrooms he designed for the brand.
