Adjustable base supplier Customatic Adjustable Bedz, with headquarters in Natick, Massachusetts, has named Brad Mills director of customer care, a newly created position.
Mills joins the company from Acushnet Co., owner of golf brands Titleist and Footjoy. Prior to joining Acushnet, Mills was operations manager for Greg Norman Collection. He began his career with State Street Corp., an investment management company.
“Mills’ expertise in exceeding customer expectations will advance Customatic’s customer care to an unmatched level in the home furnishings industry,” said Phil Sherman, managing member for Customatic. “Mills’ experience in process management, operations and root-cause analysis approach to problem solving delivers a wealth of knowledge to the Customatic operations process.”
“We are excited to add Brad to our growing management team,” Sherman added. “His skills were the things we were looking for to help innovate and advance customer service expectations.”
In a news release, Customatic said creating the position and hiring Mills demonstrates its commitment to customer service and to the betterment of its customers’ experience.
“As a company, we always strive to provide the highest level of quality, value and service,” said Phil McCarty, also a managing member of Customatic. “Many of our competitors seem to view the latter as unimportant. That’s another reason why we are different. We’re not just supplying a product; we’re servicing a valued customer, and retailers recognize that adds value to their store’s image and credibility.”
Mills reports to Robert Eskridge, vice president and chief engineer of Customatic.
