Bedgear pledges day of giving Sept. 16 to support Hurricane Harvey recovery

Bedgear is partnering with the Dirk Nowitzky Foundation and others to help in the recovery efforts after Hurricane Harvey.

Farmingdale, NY, September 14, 2017BEDGEAR, the fast-growth PERFORMANCE® lifestyle brand, announced today its commitment to donate 100 percent of online sales on September 16th and $400,000 retail worth of bedding products to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. The bedding donation of pillows and blankets will be split between the relief efforts of the Dallas Mavericks and our Houston retail partners.

Leading the recovery effort, on Saturday, September 16th, BEDGEAR’s “100% for Recovery” campaign will donate all online sales on www.bedgear.com to the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation, which in turn will benefit the families and children affected by Hurricane Harvey. Dirk Nowitzki has pledged to donate all proceeds from his Pro Celebrity Tennis Classic taking place that day and Dallas Mavericks Owner, Mark Cuban, has also pledged to match the proceeds up to 2 million dollars.

BEDGEAR will support the Dallas Mavericks in ensuring PERFORMANCE® bedding essentials get in the hands of the right people in need as they begin the long rebuilding process. “We are committed to working with our partners to support critical renewal efforts and help them rebuild communities that have been severely impacted by the hurricane.
