Japanese Baseball Hall of Famer Matsui named Tempur Sealy Japan ambassador

Tempur Sealy Japan, part of Lexington, Kentucky-based Tempur Sealy International Inc., partnered with famed Japanese baseball player Hideki Matsui for its latest Tempur-Pedic advertising campaign in Japan.

Matsui’s career began in Japan’s Nippon Professional league, then he moved to the United States to play with the New York Yankees in 2003. On Jan. 15, he became the youngest player to be inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame. Matsui said he always has depended on his Tempur pillow, which helped provide restorative sleep so he could maintain focus and consistency.
