Talalay Global Brings in Consumer Goods Experts Kurilla and Nanni

Latex components and finished products supplier Talalay Global has named Jack Kurilla vice president of business development and Margaret Nanni vice president of product development. Both are new posts for the Shelton, Connecticut-based company.

Kurilla has more than 20 years of experience across diverse product categories. His resume includes a variety of textile companies, including SureFit, Ex-Cell Home Fashions Inc., Glenoit and others, as well as home goods and consumer goods companies.

“Jack’s vast experience in the textiles, housewares and tabletop industries makes him perfectly suited for this new position as we embark on a plan to grow several areas of our business,” said Marc Navarre, Talalay Global chief executive officer. “He has a history of generating stellar results using omnichannel sales strategies.”

Nanni has two decades working in merchandising, global sourcing and product management. Most recently, she was senior vice president of merchandising for SureFit Home Décor. While there, she managed a team of 12. Previously, she was vice president of product development for Spiegel Inc. Prior to that, she was president of global sourcing for the former Warnaco Group.

“Margaret has the ideal skill set that we need to move forward with our ambitious growth plans,” Navarre said. “She has a strong record of bringing new products to market successfully, and can spot trends and evaluate new opportunities.”
