Licensing group Restonic Mattress Corp., which has headquarters in Buffalo, New York, has named Julia Rosien to the new post vice president of brand and digital marketing. She joined Restonic in 2013 and most recently held the title brand director.

Rosien continues to oversee branding and digital strategy, as well as the company’s marketing research efforts. She also is the brand liaison for two Restonic brand partners — Scott Living and Biltmore.

According to a news release, Rosien and her team have cultivated a thriving social media community that drives Restonic’s brand awareness among consumers.

Rosien is the current chair of the International Sleep Products Association’s Better Sleep Council and a past chair of WithIt, a women’s networking group in the home furnishings industry.

“Today’s brands require insight into how consumers move through the digital shopping and buying cycle,” said Ron Passaglia, Restonic president and chief executive officer. “Rosien has a keen understanding in developing those channels and working with retailers as they try to reach consumers. There is no question our brand is stronger and more visible since Rosien has joined Restonic.”
