C3 Adds Inside Sales Representative

Tanner Van De Hay

Machinery supplier C3 Corp., headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin, has hired Tanner Van De Hey as an inside sales representative. In this role, he focuses on sales of plastic film, which is used with the company’s mattress and foam packaging equipment.

He joins C3 after several years interning with the company in various roles while earning a university degree. His experience with C3 includes operations, shipping and receiving, and purchasing.

Van De Hey reports to Mark Desjardin, business development leader.

“(Tanner) has an eagerness to learn the customers’ needs and gets involved in every sale,” Desjardin said. “His involvement moves from order taking to solutions. Tanner has found a number of ways to save customers money (especially) when it comes to trucking and maximizing loads.”

Commenting on his new role, Van De Hey said: “Whether it’s processing orders, taking care of inventory, servicing issues (or) startups on our floor — any part of the business that has the word film in it — I’m involved with it. My responsibility within the team is to ensure the customer has security when it comes to film. My worst nightmare is the thought of a customer’s line shutting down due to a film issue.

“We know our machines inside and out and we’re experts on every part of the machine, including our film. We’ve done extensive research on thousands of beds with different films, so we know what works. So, when I talk to customers, I always tell them they can trust the products C3 recommends.”
