Industry supplier Jones Family of Companies, based in Humboldt, Tennessee, has formed a new division — Jones Logistics Services — to streamline procurement, sourcing, freight and warehousing.
“Jones’ investment in warehousing operations and processes over the years allows us to offer customers a strategic distribution system throughout the United States with value-added logistics services to reduce overall costs and improve speed to market,” said Andrew Dailey, senior vice president sales development and strategic accounts. The company has three distribution centers in eastern Tennessee, western Tennessee and Las Vegas.
Jones Logistics Services was formed to offer premier fulfillment and distribution services with a wide range of e-commerce technology solutions, the company said in a news release. Monica Cadaret, vice president operations, said: “With a fully integrated order-entry system capable of processing orders through multiple feeds and real-time inventory visibility, JLS provides seamless checks and balances at each step of the process, enabling our team to have unprecedented speed and accuracy to serve our customers. We are eager to serve both existing and new customers by showcasing our robust operations and logistics services.”
Services offered include both short-term and long-term solutions for receiving and shipping, inventory control and reporting systems.
