C3 Corp., a machinery and engineering services supplier, has hired John Deitrich to the new position vice president of operations. He joins the Appleton, Wisconsin-based company from Kimberly-Clark Corp. and reports to C3 Chief Executive Officer Joe Van De Hey.
Deitrich is responsible for leading the company’s installation, logistics, manufacturing and procurement teams. He oversees all three C3 manufacturing and warehousing facilities in Appleton.
His tenure with multinational Kimberly-Clark spanned 28 years and encompassed the conception and launch of a variety of noteworthy branded products, a news release said. He rose through the ranks at his previous employer in a range of manufacturing, operations and engineering roles and most recently held the title vice president of global manufacturing.
Deitrich’s hiring enables the growing company to “guarantee we can meet delivery promises while maintaining the safety of our team and the quality of our equipment,” Van De Hey said.
“John’s experience in the tissue market for a Fortune 100 company sparked interest for me as he’s been exposed to many standards, experiences and challenges,” Van De Hey said. “I could feel his anticipation for the role and figured he was ready for something special that we could offer him. Selfishly, he will free me from the day-to-day needs in operations and serve as a mentor to this team and their potential. C3 is lucky to have a person with such experiences, knowledge and, most of all, his good nature. He suits our culture.”
In commenting on his new post, Deitrich said: “I will be working to foster exceptional customer service to our clients by executing our designs to the highest degree of quality while keeping our employees and our clients’ employees safe. It is a relentless pursuit of continuing to improve, innovate and reduce our execution costs to better meet our customers’ needs.”
