Shifman Mattresses, based in Newark, New Jersey, has hired Scott Hollis as Southwest territory sales manager.
According to a news release, Hollis is a bedding sales veteran. He most recently worked with Vispring, covering western North America. He is credited with quadrupling the number of stores carrying Vispring beds during his five-year tenure. His background includes sales positions with Serta and Spring Air. He started out in retail, having owned and operated five America’s Mattress stores in Alabama and Mississippi, and began his career as a sleep shop store manager.
