Manufacturer Mlily USA has hired Nairi Gharibian as head of design, overseeing a team of four designers. She is based in Los Angeles and is responsible for managing all aspects of design including product design at the Knoxville, Tennessee-based company.
Gharibian brings a background in consumer goods to her new post. Most recently, she was senior product designer/illustrator at Fridababy LLC. Prior to that she spent a decade with baby products company Munchkin.
“We’re very fortunate to have Nairi continue to build and grow our design team,” said Stephen Chen, president of Mlily USA. “She is a highly experienced product design specialist with the skills and knowledge we need to continue to develop high-tech products that result in high-quality sleep. Her experience from outside the industry has proven to be extremely successful as Nairi has applied her experience in designing youth products to help with the development of our recently launched Jama juvenile sleep line.”
Gharibian added: “Being able to continue to grow our industry-leading team and help to develop strategies not only for new products, but for our graphics, photos, videos and websites will help strengthen our leadership position in the industry, as we continue to find new and innovative ways to benefit our customers.”
