Leggett & Platt Inc. announced that effective Aug. 15 Tyson Hagale assumed the role senior vice president and president of the Bedding Products segment. He is a 20-year company veteran who has worked with many of the Carthage, Missouri-based manufacturer’s diverse businesses on financial, strategic and operational initiatives.
In his new role, Hagale leads the Bedding Products segment, which includes Steel Rod, Drawn Wire, U.S. Spring, Specialty Foam, Adjustable Bed (known collectively as the domestic bedding value chain), and all bed- and spring-making machinery.
Since 2020, Hagale was president of the Home Furniture Group and vice president, commercial for the domestic bedding value chain.
In early 2020, L&P reorganized its business into three operating segments — Bedding Products, which now includes all products and equipment sold to the bedding industry; Specialized Products; and Furniture, Flooring and Textile Products. The three segments contain seven business groups subdivided into 15 business units.
