Independent producer Bowles Mattress Co., based in Jeffersonville, Indiana, has named Angela
Dunaway vice president of human resources and administration.
Dunaway, previously an HR consultant, worked with Bowles Mattress when she partnered with the company as a consultant for a local firm in 2019.
At Bowles, her role covers all functional areas of human resources, and she works closely with leadership as an adviser.
“Angela is a leader and change agent with 20-plus years of experience in HR consulting and corporate HR leadership roles,” said Scott Armstrong, president. “Her experience includes HR services for a broad range of issues to clients in industries such as government contracting, aerospace and defense, energy, health care, technology, retail, automotive, manufacturing, downtown revitalization, home building, engineering and more.”
Dunaway has served as board president for the Society for Human Resource Management chapters in both Owensboro, Kentucky, and Huntsville, Alabama.
