WithIt, the women’s leadership organization celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, has named Renee Loper-Boyd as president. She is vice president of marketing at International Market Centers, where she oversees marketing for the Atlanta, High Point and Las Vegas markets.
In addition, several new vice presidents have joined the board of directors of the High Point, North Carolina-based organization: Jenny Barnhill, Culp Inc.; Amanda Daubert, Furniture First; Sydney Harris, Furnitureland South; Shelly Head, Liberty Furniture; and Jessica Norby, Global Textile Alliance.
WithIt’s mission is to encourage and develop education, mentoring and leadership opportunities for women in the home furnishings industries.
“I’m honored to serve as WithIt’s president in 2022 and appreciate the opportunity to give back to an organization and industry that has supported me over the course of my career,” Loper-Boyd said. “Thank you to our members, sponsors, board and committees for your contributions that enable us to serve the industry to develop, grow and support female leaders. Other members of the 2022 WithIt board are Lorri Kelley, Lorri Kelley Advisors, chair; Emily Severson Boyst, Hooker Furnishings, vice president/president-elect; Shelly Head, Liberty Furniture, treasurer; and Bonnie Wallace, International Home Furnishings Representatives Association, secretary.
