NCFI Polyurethanes and Creative Ticking, along with Charles and Christa Heilig, combined their efforts to donate 60 mattresses to Charlotte, North Carolina-based nonprofit Beds for Kids.
“Creative Ticking is proud to join Charles and Christa Heilig and NCFI in the donation of mattresses to the Beds for Kids organization,” said Ron Sytz, Creative founder and chief executive officer. “Sleep is such an important part of all of our lives and is necessary for children to grow and learn.”
Beds for Kids’ mission is to provide beds and furniture to children in need.
Mount Airy, North Carolina-based NCFI, a producer of foam mattress cores, and Gastonia, North Carolina-based Creative, a producer of ticking and covers, teamed up to build high-quality mattresses for the project.
“NCFI is proud to be a small part of what this amazing organization does,” said Chris Bradley, executive vice president of consumer products for NCFI. “We share common values with Creative, so this partnership made perfect sense, and we look forward to working with Creative again in the future.”
