Pure White Celliant from Hologenix Honored

Pure white Celliant from Hologenix has achieved two major recognitions: It is a top ten winner in the Fibers & Insulation category of ISPO Textrends Fall/Winter 2023/24, and it also has been shortlisted in the Drapers Sustainable Fashion 2022 Awards.

The Pacific Palisades, California-based company is sharing the spotlight with recognized brands such as H&M, Sweaty Betty and Timberland. According to the awards sponsor, Drapers, an authority on fashion retailing in the United Kingdom since 1887, they received the most entries ever this year.

To create pure white Celliant rPET fiber, Hologenix partnered with Ireland-based Wellman International Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Indorama Ventures. Indorama Ventures is investing $1.5 billion in sustainability initiatives, allowing them to recycle 50 billion PET bottles globally by 2025 to support the growth of the circular economy.

“We’re honored to be shortlisted in Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards,” said Courtney OKeefe, chief supply chain officer. “Hologenix is founded on the principle of creating products like Celliant that improve peoples’ lives in a sustainable and ethical way. We are very proud of pure white Celliant and the impact the partnership with Wellman has had across Celliant products in our move to rPET as one of our sustainable offerings.”
