Luxfort Home Re-imagines PowerBeds Line

NEWS RELEASE | HIGH POINT 2023

Luxfort Bridgeport PowerBed

High Point, N.C. Mid-priced motion upholstery specialist Luxfort Home will celebrate its one-year anniversary at the High Point Market this spring by continuing to reimagine upholstered beds to create new business opportunities for retailers, said President Lee Boone.

“Our goal is to create sales and profit opportunities for our retailers through innovation in the power upholstery, accent seating and upholstered beds categories by adding unexpected functional features,” Boone said. Here are highlights for the upcoming High Point Market:

NEXT GENERATION OF POWER BEDS. At the HPMKT last fall, Luxfort introduced an innovative new product category for the bedroom furniture and sleep industries called PowerBeds, integrating the most popular functional elements of motion upholstery into best-selling upholstered bed styles. “The PowerBed concept has been embraced by retailers across the country,” Boone said. This market, the company will offer five new styles and expand the number of styles and fabrics available, with an emphasis on soft, high-pile covers. All PowerBeds feature adjustable headrests, Bluetooth audio systems to sync with devices and provide surround sound, LED-touch lights and wireless charging flexible phone/tablet holders. All beds ship with matching upholstered footboard and bedrails, and a 14-slat mattress foundation, so no box spring is necessary. There’s also a built-in, patent-pending mattress-height adjustment bracket to accommodate a wide range of mattress thicknesses (12” -16”). Retail price range is $1,000 to $1,500.

The new lines will debut in Luxfort’s 5,000-square-foot showroom at 100 N. Main Street, High Point.
