Knoxville, Tennessee-based Mlily USA has renewed its commitment to nonprofit partner Special Spaces for another three years and expanded its donations.
Since 2021, Mlily has partnered with Tennessee-based Special Spaces to create dream bedroom makeovers for children with cancer. Mlily provides both monetary and product donations, which are distributed to any of the 12 Special Spaces chapters located in 10 states. The 501(c)(3) organization has created more than 1,400 dream bedrooms for children ages 2-9 with cancer.
“Special Spaces greatly values our partnership with Mlily,” said Christopher Swaim, executive director for the nonprofit. “Every Special Spaces child and sibling we help sleeps on a new, clean and comfortable bed and mattress from Mlily. This simple gesture means so much to our families, many who cannot afford this simple luxury. Their generosity touches every room we do.”
With the partnership extension through 2026, Mlily has also added another Jama mattress as an eligible product that will contribute to Special Spaces. Now, a portion of sales for every Mlily Kids collection, which includes the Jama five- and seven-inch mattresses and Jama pillow, will go to the nonprofit program that is near and dear to the Mlily USA family.
“It is incredibly rewarding to be able to help Special Spaces in its mission while also carrying out Mlily’s mission to deliver better sleep at every age and stage of life,” said Kyle Robertson, Mlily chief operations officer.
