Spring Air Expands Customer Service Resources

Bedding manufacturer and licensing group Spring Air International is expanding its national customer service capabilities to reflect an increase in private-label direct-ship business.

According to a news release, as more dealers request direct shipments of private-label products to customers from Spring Air’s 12 licensed factories across the United States, the company is fielding a growing number of consumer inquiries. This expansion of services allows Spring Air to address private-label direct-shipment questions more efficiently and comprehensively. 

 “One of the significant trends we are increasingly able to offer our dealers is that we can reduce their inventory and ship retailer-branded private label product directly to their customer, saving them time and money. We are embedded with FedEx across our factory network now, with its trucks visiting plants daily for pick-ups,” said Nick Bates, president and CEO of Spring Air. “This additional level of service requires us to add resources so that when a consumer has a question or issue with a retailer’s product, we can respond quickly and efficiently.”  

Company officials announced that Nicole Pereira has been hired to lead Spring Air International’s customer service operations at its corporate headquarters in Woburn, Massachusetts. Before joining Spring Air, Pereira worked for healthcare and hospitality companies in direct customer-facing roles. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston.  

“Nicole is credibly focused on providing solutions to a host of consumer inquiries. Her experience gives her a special sensitivity to addressing customer needs quickly and comprehensively,” Bates added. “We will be adding more personnel to our team, from customer service to graphics and marketing professionals as we continue to develop, grow and care for our existing, and expanding customer base.”
