Standard Fiber Debuts Textile Collections

The design team at Standard Fiber is presenting fresh, new design and color trends to help customers select the most current home textiles for their new mattress collections.

“Over the years, we’ve found customers rely on us to help them come up with creative solutions,” said Brandon Wells, executive vice president and general manager of the mattress division. “While comfort technologies and design aesthetics are always on trend, sustainability is also a major concern among today’s consumers and plays a big role in our home textile offering.”

The Burlingame, California-based company recently introduced three new textile themes based on its design team’s research on home design and color trends: Mod Nature, Japandi and Simply Intricate.

Mod Nature embraces the idea of “new-stalgic.” It pulls elements from midcentury architecture and design and updates the look to a more contemporary feel.

Japandi blends Japanese and Scandinavian aesthetics, melding the smooth and modern approach of Scandinavian design with the sleek, functional elegance of Japanese design.

Simply Intricate is Standard Fiber’s transitional take on traditional style. Think floral motifs, organic and fluid design elements, intricate background texture, and a soft, muted color palette.

Standard Fiber recently launched a carbon reduction program, investing in carbon offsets for all cargo containers of textiles it exports from Asia to customers in the United States and 20 other countries. This initiative builds on the company’s material responsibility platform that includes organic cotton with GOTS or OCS certification, recycled fibers with GRS or RCS certification, bio-based foams with USDA Biopreferred certification, RDS down, Oeko-Tex certified products and packaging made with recycled materials.
