Mattress major Sealy and its advertising agency Leo Burnett USA have earned a 2011 Jay Chiat Award for Strategic Excellence for its “Whatever You Do In Bed, Sealy Supports It” advertising campaign for the Sealy Posturepedic brand. The award is sponsored by the American Association of Advertising Agencies and was announced during the 4A’s Strategy Festival in New York on Oct. 13. “We are extremely proud of our campaign and it is a true honor to receive such a prestigious award,” said Jodi Allen, chief marketing officer for Sealy, which has headquarters in Trinity, N.C. The three television spots highlight life’s moments in bed.
