Reverie moves into new Mich. headquarters

Reverie, which manufactures adjustable bases, mattresses and pillows, has moved to permanent headquarters in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. The company had occupied temporary space in Franklin, Mich., since relocating from Silver Creek, N.Y., in 2012.

The renovated 11,000-square-foot leased office space will eventually house as many as 40 staff members in sales, marketing and research and development. The site has an open floor plan to encourage creativity and collaboration across departments.

“Our company is going through a tremendous growth period and Michigan was extremely attractive due to a favorable business climate, as well as an incredibly skilled talent pool,” said Martin Rawls-Meehan, Reverie president and chief executive officer. “We view the Detroit area as a hotbed of technology and innovation and while we can benefit from that, we also want to play a part in the region’s continued revitalization. Having grown up in Michigan, I have strong personal ties to the area and have already relocated to join my core team and assist in building a strong presence there.”
