Sleep accessories manufacturer Malouf, with headquarters in Logan, Utah, has hired Shauna Spencer to the new post lead interior designer. She reports to Malouf General Manager Mike Douglas.

Spencer is in the midst of updating the company’s four permanent trade-show showrooms. Her other responsibilities include styling company photo shoots and conducting design work related to custom bedding options and new product development. Spencer also will work on Malouf’s new headquarters, scheduled to open in 2015.

Prior to joining Malouf, Spencer was an interior designer with high-end residential design firm Michelle Dunker Interiors. She holds an interior design degree from Utah State University.

Commenting on her new post and responsibilities, Spencer said, “I can’t begin to express how excited I am to be expanding my career into commercial design and to be working at Malouf. A major goal of our new showroom designs is to promote more hands-on interaction. Malouf creates high-value products and we want consumers to be able to physically feel the quality of our materials.”
