Fresno, California-based bed maker Pleasant Mattress Inc. (formerly Cannon Sleep Products) gave 16 mattresses to fire victims of the Erskine Fire in June near Lake Isabella, California.
The donation was made through The Furniture Store and Mattress Center, which coordinated the effort with God’s Storehouse of the Kern River Valley. “Supporting our community is part of our mission,” said Rion Morgenstern, Pleasant Mattress president and chief executive officer.
