At the summer’s Las Vegas Market July 29-Aug. 2, St. Louis, Mo.-based Glideaway Sleep Products is launching a new memory foam collection, extending its Intuition line, adding a “best” steel bed frame and tying all of its products into a training initiative for retail sales associates.
The new Revive Performance series from Sleepharmony is a “better” three-bed visco group manufactured with U.S.-made CertiPUR-US foams. The beds have layers of “performance foams” and mesh fabric borders for better airflow. Specialty ticking on the beds is said to enhance moisture evaporation and fight odor-causing bacteria. The collection retails from $999 to $1,799.
Glideaway has added four models to the affordable memory-foam Intuition from Sleepharmony collection. The new beds have a white and charcoal-swirl panel fabric and charcoal borders. The beds use foams in a variety of densities and range in height from 10 inches to 14 inches. Retail prices for the Intuition collection range from $699 to $1,499 in queen sizes.
The T9 Millennial bed frame is Glideaway’s new top-of-the-line, heavy-duty steel frame with an extendable rail that adjusts to fit queen, king and California king mattresses. Designed to appeal to youthful, fashion-forward consumers, there is a center support, a black powder-coat finish and “designer legs” with extra-wide glides.
Finally, Glideaway’s “Five Good Sleep Components Guide” assists RSAs in educating consumers on what to look for in a mattress. It includes store displays and materials that list five requirements for creating an optimal sleeping environment: personal comfort fulfillment, proper support, balanced pressure relief, temperature regulation and antibacterial and allergen control.
