This week, as I prepare to head off to Las Vegas Market Aug. 2-6 to tour mattress and bedding showrooms, I did the math and realized this is my 13th Las Vegas show in a row.
As luck would have it, for a summer market, this one is looking fairly newsworthy. Almost every exhibitor will launch a little something–from pillows, to bed linens, to pet beds–with a handful of new mattress collections here and there.

By coincidence, International Market Centers today sent a news release celebrating Las Vegas Market’s 10th anniversary, and proclaiming that the show has cemented its position as “the national bedding market” with:
- Glideaway, Knickerbocker, L&P’s Fashion Bed Group, Magniflex, PureCare, Serta, Simmons and Symbol Mattress renewing “their long-term commitment to Las Vegas Market;”
- More than 100 mattress and bedding exhibitors in the bedding category, covering more than 300,00 square feet.
Bedding exhibitors are clustered in Building A on floors 5, 7 and 9; Building B, floors 8, 9, 11, 13 and 14; and Building C, floor 15.
