Mattress producer Park Place Corp., based in Greenville, South Carolina, has appointed Daniel Sardina vice president of sales.

In this position, which had been vacant for nearly one year, Sardina is responsible for leading the sales efforts at Park Place. He reports directly to Jason Kelley, president and chief executive officer.

Sardina has 17 years of experience in the mattress and bedding industry. Prior to joining Park Place, Sardina served as sales manager at Tempur Sealy International Inc. Sardina also has served as a key account representative for Serta International in the Atlanta area and as a territory sales trainer/manager for Mattress Firm for nine years.

Founded by the Orders family in 1931, Park Place distributes its mattress lines throughout the eastern half of the United States.
