Foam producer FXI, with headquarters in Media, Pa., has hired Diane Adams as senior vice president of sales and marketing. She leads a new consumer products division, which includes mattress manufacturer Anatomic Global. David Farley, former Anatomic Global chief executive officer, has left the company.
“I would like to thank David for his many valuable contributions and wish him all the best,” said FXI President and CEO John Cowles. FXI took majority ownership of Anatomic Global in 2011.
In her new role, Adams is responsible for implementing FXI’s consumer strategy across all industry segments, from bedding and sleep products to building and cleaning products.
Adams has more than 30 years of experience in senior sales and marketing posts at a number of consumer brands. Most recently, she was vice president of sales, marketing and customer operations at Schiller Grounds Care. Prior to that, she was senior vice president of global sales and marketing for K’NEX Brands and director of global licensing for Crayola.
“Diane is a respected industry veteran who will have a dynamic impact on our brands and drive growth across our entire suite of consumer products, including gutter filtration, cleaning and finished bedding products,” Cowles said. “Our company has always been associated with quality manufacturing and we see this as an opportunity for growth in 2012.”
“Foam has the potential to revolutionize the consumer product market,” Adams said. “I understand that in order to succeed you need passion, work ethic and a commitment to research and development. I’ve found these qualities at FXI and look forward to growing the business, while continuing to explore the application of foam into new arenas.”
