At the summer Las Vegas Market, July 30 – Aug. 2, mattress licensing group Restonic put the accent on its 2012 marketing program, highlighting recent awards, product promotions and specials.
The mattress brand received its second annual Women’s Choice Award for Excellence in Brand Experience. The award is based on a Women Certified Female Sales and Satisfaction survey conducted among women shoppers who have purchased a Restonic mattress. Results found that 90% of respondents would “refer and recommend” Restonic mattresses to family and friends.
“This prestigious award recognizes the brand’s overwhelmingly positive experience among female consumers and validates Restonic’s brand focus of ‘Supporting Dreams’ for all who experience our brand,” said Ron Passaglia, Restonic chief executive officer.
The company’s entire ComfortCare collection was again named a Consumers Digest Best Buy. Restonic celebrated the award with a summer Sale-A-Bration on four models in the ComfortCare collection with Marvelous Middle technology. The beds retail from $588 to $888 for a limited time. The top model incorporates the company’s TempaGel memory foam.
Other marketing news included the launch of “Show Us Your Marvelous Middle,” a consumer contest that is the latest element in its 2012 Marvelous Middle campaign. Marvelous Middle is an exclusive Restonic feature offering extra support and durability in the center third of the mattress.
The contest uses social media channels to invite consumers to contribute photos about their own marvelous middles—whether it’s a slimmed down tummy after weight loss, an expectant mom showing off her “baby bump” or an entire family flaunting their belly buttons on the beach. The campaign runs through Nov. 12. Three winners will receive Restonic bed sets.
