Sealy airs TV spot for Optimum line

Mattress major Sealy has debuted a new TV commercial promoting its Optimum by Sealy Posturepedic gel memory foam line. The 30-second spot is airing nationally and is part of the Trinity, N.C.-based company’s largest advertising spend in five years. It premiered during NBC’s “Today Show” on June 14 and airs during primetime on shows such as “America’s Got Talent” and “Two and a Half Men.”

“The new commercial joins three other ads currently in aggressive rotation that focus on our flagship Posturepedic brand,” said Jodi Allen, Sealy chief marketing officer. “The overall campaign reflects Sealy’s major investment in national consumer advertising, which is in addition to the over $100 million we already spend annually in co-op advertising with our retail partners.”
