Stearns & Foster gives Gift of Sleep

Mattress major Sealy, which has headquarters in Trinity, N.C., announced that for the third consecutive year a portion of the sales of its Stearns & Foster brand are being used to assist the Salvation Army. The Stearns & Foster Gift of Sleep program began Nov. 20 and runs through Jan. 11.

For every Stearns & Foster mattress sold by participating retailers during the holiday season, Sealy is donating $100 toward the purchase of new mattresses—up to $1 million—to Salvation Army residential shelters across the United States.

“The Stearns & Foster brand has had a wonderful history of philanthropy and that legacy continues with our ongoing partnership with the Salvation Army,” said Jodi Allen, Sealy chief marketing officer. “The contributions made to this program in previous years extend beyond the holiday season and have helped families who have fallen on hard times get back on their feet.”
