Springs Creative & Devan launch rebranding, Latexco partnership

Industry supplier Springs Creative Products Group in Rock Hill, S.C., and Devan-US, part of Devan Chemicals, a supplier of engineered-fabric technologies with headquarters in Ronse, Belgium, have launched a new brand identity, logo and website (www.devan.net). The two companies teamed up in 2010 to market environmentally friendly technical textiles in the U.S. and Canadian markets.

Commenting on the new brand identity, Scott Frisch, president of Springs Creative Specialty Products Group, said, “Devan’s corporate commitments mirror our own continued commitment to innovation, the environment and our customers’ needs in the industry.”

Springs Creative and Devan-US also have entered joint marketing venture with latex supplier Latexco in Lavonia, Ga., which has world headquarters in Tielt, Belgium. The three will cooperate on the domestic manufacture and sale of latex made with Devan’s Thermic phase-change technology additive, a technology Latexco also uses in European latex production.

A news release said that Latexco has made a strong commitment to adding Thermic to all Georgia-made latex.

“Adding this innovative temperature-regulating feature to latex in the North American market is an exciting venture for Devan Chemicals, Latexco and Springs Creative,” Frisch said.
