Carpenter Co.’s SleepBetter Facebook page has topped 250,000 fans, according to the Richmond, Va.-based industry supplier. The company credits the page’s increasing popularity to a number of consumer-facing promotions launched during the past year, including its Lost-Hour Economic Index. The promotion centered on the impact of daylight saving time on sleep and was picked up by mainstream media.
“The fact that we are now able to connect with and share the latest and best sleep tips and information with over 250,000 fans on Facebook is incredible,” said Dan Schecter, Carpenter Co. senior vice president of consumer products and creator of SleepBetter.org. “SleepBetter and Carpenter Co. are now in a strong position to engage these fans as SleepBetter ambassadors for marketing and partnership opportunities that we are currently exploring.”
