Ohio Mattress Recovery receives state grant

Ohio Mattress Recovery & Recycling in Garfield, Ohio, announced it was awarded a $75,000 grant from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency on May 4, enabling it to continue its mattress recycling work.

“We will continue to be a turnkey recycler in which we will pick up, transport and deconstruct mattresses from colleges, universities, hotels, motels, resorts, casinos and municipalities anywhere in the country,” said Chuck Brickman, Ohio Mattress Recovery president.

The company was sponsored and recommended for the grant by the City of Cleveland, a news release stated.
