Milwaukee-based factory direct chain Verlo Mattress Factory has reorganized its management team and promoted several employees both at its corporate franchise support center and within its corporate-owned store system.
The changes are part of several improvements implemented at the company since it was acquired in 2012 by Marcus Investments LLC and “lay the foundation for achieving operational excellence and future growth,” a news release said.
Darren Brylow is now assistant general manager, Bobby Cleveland was promoted to general manager, Tom Metz is director of product development and special projects, 23-year Verlo veteran Dale Rome was named vice president of sales and operations, and Stephen Shelly was named director of operations.
“The strength of Verlo is the expertise of our people,” said Chris Nolte, Verlo chief executive officer. “We are very fortunate to be able to leverage the experience of our seasoned employees. It makes growing our business that much easier.”
