Specialty mattress producer Dormeo Octaspring, with U.S. headquarters in Plano, Texas, has “expanded the manufacturing function” at its Dallas facility. The company spent more than $500,000 to retrofit a 30,000-square-foot distribution center, adding capabilities for making “product enhancements and customizations,” a news release said.
“Our growth in the United States has been very brisk and by increasing our local capabilities, we are much better able to service our North American retailers,” said Chris Henning, Dormeo Octaspring president of North American retail sales. “After our successful showing at the winter Las Vegas Market, we knew that we needed to shift from importing product to manufacturing domestically to keep up with orders from our retail partners here in the States and Canada. By expanding our capabilities at our Dallas location, we continue to be true to our promise to not only support our customers through our advertising campaigns, but to provide effective and efficient logistical support as well.”
